Mastech stacking columns are a unique system of "trigger" fingers that support a part in a shipping rack or an online fixture. As parts are placed on a lower level in the column set, a set of support fingers is "triggered" by the lower parts and will automatically extend to support the next part. This continues until the rack is full.

Finger details can be made from steel, plastic or Aluminum. Consideration is given to protect finished surfaces on parts.
Standard vertical spacing designs:
15 mm
20 mm
25 mm
35 mm
40 mm + (Can have any spacing above 40 mm)
Horizontal columns mounted on a slide-in cart to present parts to a robot for loading or unloading. The fingers automatically keep the parts separated.

Operator loads one side of a Turntable, which will index a stack of parts to an unload robot. The robot loads parts to the process line.
Supplemental vertical guides insure easy loading of the rack

Parts pre-staged in a robotic cell using Mastech stacking columns.
Column lock-downs are available to prevent parts from falling out of the columns during truck transport.
